About Artist Fiona Black:
My name is Fiona Black and I come from a wee village in the Highlands of Scotland. I am an artist, folk musician, writer, researcher, history geek and lover of stories.
I create a lot of work inspired by Scotland’s nature, landscape, culture and history, particularly that involving women. I am also a huge book lover so have really enjoyed working on a series of book reader linocut prints in all the places I find to escape and read hours away.
